年轻码头工人、海员齐集塞浦路斯 提升技能 加强团结
Young dockers and seafarers unite in Cyprus to build skills and solidarity
九月中，来自世界各地的年轻码头工人和海员齐聚塞浦路斯，参加 ITF海事圆桌会议。这是一个让年轻海事工会成员学习、分享和成长的机会，是为工会运动培育领袖的平台。
In mid-September, young dockers and seafarers from across the globe came together in Cyprus for the ITF Maritime Roundtable – a space for young maritime trade unionists to learn, share and grow as leaders in our movement.
在内容丰富的研讨会上，与会者探讨了当今海事工人面临的迫切问题——从行业数据化至人工智能应用、平等机会与女性在海事领域的角色、海事安全和永续性，到 ITF 的「方便旗」和渔船「不合规旗」运动、供应链问责制、工会网络组织和宣传、青年工人组织、谈判技巧，以及心理健康和福祉。
Across a packed programme of workshops, participants tackled the pressing issues facing maritime workers today — from data and AI, equality and the role of women in maritime, and safety and sustainability, to ITF’s Flags of Convenience and Flags of Non-Compliance campaigns, supply chain accountability, digital organising and campaigning, organising young workers, negotiating skills, and mental health and wellbeing.
这场圆桌会议由塞浦路斯运输、石油和农业工人联合会 (Federation of Transport, Petroleum, and Agriculture Workers in Cyprus，FTPAW SEK) 主办，有来自64个国家及地区的178名代表出席。对不少人来说，这次会议的亮点在于有机会与来自世界各地的同行建立联系，在塞浦路斯建立的团结关系，更将延续到世界各地的工会、工作场所和社区之中。
The Roundtable was hosted by the Federation of Transport, Petroleum, and Agriculture Workers in Cyprus (FTPAW SEK) and brought together 178 delegates from 64 countries. For many, the highlight was the chance to connect with peers from every corner of the world. The bonds of solidarity forged in Cyprus will carry forward into unions, worksites, and communities worldwide.
「海事圆桌会议证明了年轻工人的团结力量，」ITF海员部女性运输工人代表、巴西SINDMAR工会成员Lorena Pintor Silva说，「我们不仅学习诸如宣传、组织和谈判等技能，还培养了一种集体精神，使我们作为一个集体行动，力量更强大。」
“The Maritime Roundtable proves the power of bringing young workers together,” said Lorena Pintor Silva, ITF Seafarers’ Section Women Transport Workers’ Representative and member of SINDMAR, Brazil. “We don’t just learn skills like campaigning, organising and negotiating – we build a collective spirit that makes us stronger as a movement.”
Pintor Silva强调以年轻工人领导变革的重要性：「我们面临的挑战──从不安全的条件到数据化改革——都是全球性的。这意味着我们的团结也必须是全球性的。年轻工人不会等到明天才去当领导，我们今天就已经走在前面。」
Pintor Silva underlined the importance of giving young workers the tools to lead change: “The challenges we face — from unsafe conditions to digital disruption — are global. That means our solidarity must be global too. Young workers are not waiting for tomorrow to lead. We are already leading today.”
随着这些下一代海事领袖回国，他们将带回了新的知识、策略和决心，令他们的工会更强大。
As the next generation of maritime leaders return home, they bring back new knowledge, strategies, and determination to strengthen their unions.
「MRT传递的讯息很明确——我们的工会必须倾听年轻工人的声音，并赋予他们权力，」ITF青年运输工人委员会联合主席、来自比利时码头工人工会 BTB ABVV 的ITF码头工人分部青年联合代表 Nick Loridan 说，「这意味着，年轻人要求在谈判桌上占一席位，塑造受人工智能、自动化和脱碳影响的未来，并建立真正为年轻工人服务的工会。 」
“The message coming out of MRT was clear – young workers must be heard and empowered in our unions,” said Nick Loridan, ITF Young Transport Workers’ Committee Co-Chair and ITF Dockers’ Section Youth Co-Representative from Belgian dockers’ union BTB ABVV. “That means demanding seats at negotiation tables, shaping how AI, automation and decarbonisation affect us, and building unions that truly work for young workers.”
「我们知道，强大的青年组织——正式的委员会、成为领导角色、工会中的决策层——不仅是未来工会的培训场所，更是推动年轻工人面临真正改革的引擎，也是下一代在工会运动和集体谈判中发挥领导作用的引擎。」
“We know that strong youth structures – formal committees, leadership roles, decision-making bodies in their unions – are essential not just as training grounds, but as engines that drive real change on the issues young workers face, as well as in next generation to lead on campaigning and collective bargaining.”
