Hong Kong International Seafarers Services Centre Limited Concludes “ 2025 Day of Seafarer & China National Maritime Day ” Crew Visit Campaign

截止7月11日，香港國際海員服務中心開展的2025世界海員日&中國航海日探訪慰問海員活動圓滿收官。
As of July 11, the Hong Kong International Seafarers Services Centre has successfully launched and completed its “2025 Day of Seafarer & China National Maritime Day” Crew Visit Campaign.

自6月2日至7月11日，中心的工作團隊共探訪慰問了132艘商船上的近3000名海員，代表香港MNOG與AUS兩家工會送上了香港的問候與福利大禮包。
Between June 2 and July 11, the Centre’s dedicated team visited 132 merchant vessels arriving in Hong Kong, extending care and support to nearly 3,000 seafarers. On behalf of the Merchant Navy Officers’ Guild – Hong Kong and the Amalgamated Union of Seafarers, the team delivered heartfelt greetings from Hong Kong along with generous welfare packages.

此次活動是香港國際海員服務中心踐行服務海員，助推航運業發展的宗旨，攜手航運企業共同為抵港的國際海員送上人文關懷與福利。
This initiative reflects the Centre’s ongoing dedication to supporting seafarers and advancing the maritime industry. In partnership with leading shipping companies, the campaign welcomed international crew members arriving in Hong Kong with thoughtful care and comprehensive welfare services.

香港海員宗會的Valan神父加入了工作團隊，為海員提供的豐富的精神福祉。
Father Valan of the Apostleship of the Sea Hong Kong joined the outreach team, offering meaningful spiritual support and pastoral care to the seafarers.

此次活動得到了東方海外貨櫃航運有限公司(OOCL),Seaspan航運公司，Anglo Eastern船舶管理公司，萬海航運（海豐船務）及太平船務等公司的傾力支持，公司船員部負責人不但為中心及時匯總了活動期間抵港的商船資訊，還積極協工作人員助辦理出入碼頭的通行證。
The campaign received strong backing from several shipping companies, including Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), Seaspan Shipping, Anglo-Eastern Ship Management, Wan Hai Lines (Haifeng Shipping) and Pacific International Lines.
Crew department representatives from these companies actively supported the initiative by promptly providing vessel arrival information and assisting staff in securing terminal access permits.

工作人員尊重海員的意願，根據他們的實際需求，及時採購了大量的慰問物品，深受海員的喜歡。此外，工作人員應船員的聯繫請求，多次前往碼頭接送海員來中心休憩、娛樂，並安排引導他們至商場購物。
Respecting the preferences and needs of the seafarers, the team procured a wide range of comfort items, which were warmly received. In response to crew requests, staff frequently arranged transportation from terminals to the Centre for rest and recreation, and also guided seafarers to nearby shopping facilities.

活動期間，工作人員不辭辛勞，經常於傾盆大雨中，或冒著烈日炎炎、酷暑濕熱登輪，確保完成探訪任務；在與船員互動交流中，工作人員重點介紹中心的宗旨、服務內容及此次探訪活動的目的。傳達香港兩家工會對來港海員的關心、對安全航運的關切與祝福。
Despite challenging weather conditions, staff demonstrated unwavering dedication—boarding vessels in heavy rain, under scorching sun, and in humid conditions—to ensure the outreach mission was fulfilled. During interactions with crew members, the team introduced the Centre’s mission, services, and the purpose of the campaign, conveying the care and blessings of the two Hong Kong maritime unions for visiting seafarers and their commitment to safe navigation.

除上述合作公司的船舶，中心工作人員還主動隨機地探訪了靠泊香港的其他航運公司的商船，讓香港海事工會的福利與人文關懷惠及了更多的海員。是次活動覆蓋的海員所在國家除中國（內地、臺灣與香港的船員）外，菲律賓、印度、印尼、韓國、緬甸、斯裡蘭卡、新加坡、馬來西亞、烏克蘭、俄羅斯、希臘、羅馬尼亞、坦尚尼亞、南非、埃及、迦納等國籍的船員也在活動中收益。
Beyond scheduled visits, the team also conducted spontaneous outreach to other merchant ships docked in Hong Kong, extending the benefits and care to a broader group of seafarers. Beneficiaries included crew members from China (Mainland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong), as well as from the Philippines, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Ukraine, Russia, Greece, Romania, Tanzania, South Africa, Egypt, and Ghana.

海員們熱烈歡迎中心工作人員的探訪，對香港高級船員協會與香港航業海員工會贈送的福利大禮包及人文關懷表示了由衷的感謝。
The seafarers warmly welcomed the visits and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the welfare packages and care provided by the Merchant Navy Officers’ Guild – Hong Kong and the Amalgamated Union of Seafarers.
